I would like to introduce my son to this series, so he might enjoy it as much as I have. If I am mistaken, or misguided, please let me know, and I will delete this post, but in the meantime, any help would be appreciated. You can even get all of the MTW2 expansions for free on Steam, but I can't get a patch?

These patches used to be available, but now their website(s) don't include anything older than Rome II. I paid 60 USD for a broken, unfinished title at the time of release, and I don't think that providing a patch should be too much to ask from a customer that has been supporting CA since I bought my first copy of the original MTW. Every other link that I have found is either dead, or untrustworthy (3rd, party hosts, popups, locking up the browser, etc.) I have searched the Total War, CA, and SEGA websites to no avail.

I would like to download the US 1.2, and 1.3 patches. I have the Steam "Definitive Edition", so I have purchased this game (and several other TW titles) twice. I have installed my old retail copy of Medieval II on my son's Windows 7 computer, and it won't even run.
